Gate LNG Regasification Plant Video
Gate Terminal, one of the largest LNG plants in northern Europe and the first storage terminal in the Netherlands. The project is an outstanding achievement for Techint E&C and a testimonial to the company's expertise in the LNG sector.
Built in the port of Rotterdam by the TSEV consortium led by Techint E&C and Spain's Sener company, Gate Terminal produces 12 billion m3 of gas a year and has a storage capacity of 540,000 m3/h. The construction of the facility was completed within the three-year schedule laid out in the EPC contract (from January 2008 to September 2011). As part of the turnkey order, Techint E&C handled management of the project and worksite and supervised the construction works.
